Mongolia Ministry of Energy Delegation Visites EPPEI

​Mr. Enkhtaivan, Director General of Policy and Planning Department of Mongolia Ministry of Energy, visited EPPEI. The two sides held discussions on further strengthening cooperation and conducting bilateral planning and research. Mr. Xu Xiaodong, Vice President of EPPEI, attended the meeting.

Vice President of EPPEI extended warm welcome to Mongolian delegation. He introduced the basic information of EPPEI and the achievements of international business. He said that China and Mongolia have great potential for cooperation in energy field and expressed the hope to strengthen cooperation in the future.

Mr. Enkhtaivan expressed that China is a great power with high energy consumption, and cooperation in energy sector is one of the key areas between China and Mongolia. The bilateral energy cooperation is important for promoting the implementation of China’s “One Belt and One Road” initiative and Mongolia’s “Plant Road” strategy.
